UNIQUE DESIGN:
FRIDA KAHLO DE RIVERA (1907-1954) was a Mexican artist who painted many portraits, self-portraits, and works inspired by nature and the artifacts of Mexico. She used a naive folk art style to explore themes of identity, post-colonialism, gender, class, and race in Mexican society. Frida is celebrated worldwide for her depiction of the female experience and form, as well as her love of nature.

In collaboration with the Frida Kahlo Corporation, we have created a new collection featuring Frida Kahlo's Carnation design, which symbolizes pure love, beauty, distinction and charm. Frida Kahlo chose this flower to decorate her iconic headband, along with the Poppy (see the Frida Kahlo Poppy collection), and it appears regularly in many of Frida Kahlo's most famous works, always drawing attention to the artwork and the woman who became the symbol of an entire era.
