FRIDA KAHLO DE RIVERA (1907-1954) was a Mexican painter, known for her portraits, self-portraits, and works inspired by nature and the artifacts of Mexico. She used a naïve and folk-art style to explore themes of identity, post-colonialism, gender, class, and race in Mexican society. Frida is celebrated worldwide for her depiction of the female experience and form, as well as her love of nature.

In collaboration with the Frida Kahlo Corporation, we have created a line of licensed products featuring our unique “Frida Kahlo Poppy” design. The poppy is one of the strongest symbols in Frida Kahlo’s work, often used in her paintings as a celebration of her national heritage. Frida loved to paint flowers, believing that it was the best way to keep them alive.
